Maxine Marcum (Farr)
Maxine Marcum, 88 went home to be with the Lord April 21, in Wilson Creek Nursing and Rehab Center, Springfield, MO.
She was born September 7, 1928 in Seymour, Missouri to Elmer and Annie Rost Farr.
She was united in marriage May 19, 1946 to Lloyd Marcum.
Maxine made her profession of faith at a young age and was a member of Westport Baptist church for over 60 years.
She was a homemaker, wife, wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She loved her family dearly. She also love to fish she enjoyed fishing on the lake with her husband and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd, two sisters Veda Tillman and Thelma Baugher. Four brothers Leslie, Ival, Charles and Evert Farr, and an aunt Hazel McNallie.
Survivors include her daughter Pam Marcum of Springfield, Missouri, son Gene Marcum and wife Kay of Rogersville, Missouri.
Two grandchildren Kelly Humble and husband Tracy of Rogersville, Missouri, Kevin Marcum and wife Lesa of Eudora, Missouri.
Seven great-grandchildren Wyatt, Weston, and Nora Humble. Allie, Hannah, Ella and Elias Marcum.
One sister Shirley Karas of Plainville, Illinois and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Maxine was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends and all who knew her.
