Willa  March
Willa Mae March passed away on October 11, 2017 in Springfield Missouri. She was born in Fayetteville Arkansas on December 8, 1934. Willa married Marvin March and remained with him until his passing. She worked at Zenith during her working years. Willa loved to vacation with her family at the beach and also loved camping. When she wasn’t spending time with family she enjoyed going to garage sales and visiting with her friends (who became a second family) at Joy Assisted Living. Willa was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bryan and Ola Mae Speck, her husband Marvin, sisters Betty and Wilma, daughter Joyce Shaul, sons Charles and Harold “Butch” Mason, and son-in-law Lewis Hill. Willa is survived by her children Laura Potter and husband Donald, Cheryl Hill, Carolyn Mayhew, Randy March and wife Debby, and Mari Mueller and husband Joel. She is also survived by her step-children Jim March and wife Luci, and Judy Reeves and husband Lynn. Willa had 10 grandchildren; Denise, Chris, Charlie, Jennifer, Jason, Stephanie, Scott, JD, Sean, and Danielle as well as 16 great-grandchildren; Christina, Nicole, Lauren, Ruby, Lilly, Sydnee, Shaelyn, Jadon, Kenzie, Gavin, Jackson, Emma, Alice, Max, Lincoln, and Roman. She is also survived by her brother Junior, and sisters Wanda, Louise, and Thelma, and close friends, Don, Georgie, Sue and all other special friends at Joy Assisted Living.
Services will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, 3540 E. Seminole, in Springfield, MO at 2:00 pm on October 13, 2017 with visitation the day prior from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm. Burial will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery on October 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm. The family suggests that all donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
