Obituary for Terry Alan Armes

Terry Alan Armes
Terry Alan Armes was born in Springdale, Arkansas April 14, 1953. It didn't take long before he was on the stage. He got his first round of applause at 3 years old, and spent the rest of his life entertaining. He graduated from Glendale H.S. in Springfield, MO in 1971, and became a professional musician shortly after. His music took him on many adventures to Florida, the West Coast, and on a tour across Canada. He came back to Springfield and became the best father in the world, and a staple in the Springfield music scene. He played this town for 40 years, and gave it his all until his final day. He was a man of integrity, and conviction. He was kind, passionate, fun, genuine, and inspirational. He was a great father, friend, and entertainer, and he was always grateful for the blessing of doing what he loved, in a place he loved, to his friends and followers he loved. We are all better to have known this incredible human being.

Terry left this world on the morning of Feb. 24, 2018. He is preceded in death by his father, J. Clebert Armes, and is survived by his mother, Jeanette Armes, brother, Rick Armes, and his children, Cori and Colt Armes.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM with services following at1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery.
