Condolences

Condolence From: Teresa Young
Condolence: So sorry for the loss in your family as well as in our school family at Westport in Springfield, MO. Ms. Bear just retired this past school year and was looking forward to spending more time with her grandchildren. She loved artistic books and drawing books from the book fair. I always saved the local newspapers for her in the library because she would put them to good use with fun projects with the students. Prayers to your family as you surround yourself with warm memories.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of your loss. I will always remember her as "Mama" Bear to all the band kids at Willard. She was always full of joy! May you cherish the memories you have and find comfort in them. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Condolence: I was blessed enough to work with Rita for 2 years at Westport. Her love for the children of the school was obvious in all that she did. The world is a little less bright without her light shining.

Condolence: I had the privilege of working with Rita for many years at SPS as a fellow elementary art teacher. Rita was a colleague and friend. I will always remember her for her unique way of presenting inspiring art ideas, her quirky way of thinking, and her love of teaching art. My love goes out to her family.

Condolence: I worked with Rita when she was a PT Asst for SPS, starting when we were a dept of 3 back in the 1990s. What stands out in my mind was her boundless energy and creativity. I remember that she was always involved in her kids school functions and was their greatest fan. I seem to remember her staying up nights making flags for one of their clubs. She was creative with activities for her students as well.
