She was united in marriage to Rev. Richard Konnerup on August 24, 1990 in Florence, S.C. and they have served together as missionaries in Kenya for twenty-five years. Ann enjoyed reading and will always be remembered as a prayer warrior. Ann was a member of Cherry Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Konnerup, Springfield; seven children, Kenna Maddy, Kathy Cornett, Jacque Burkholder, Ole Konnerup, Eric Konnerup, Jon Konnerup, and Kristina Dutton; over thirty grandchildren; and great-grandchildren of which she always remembered their birthdays by sending a card and a little bit of change; three brothers, Jim Monroe, Bill Monroe, and Paul Monroe; and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of Ann’s life will be Monday, August 3, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., at Cherry Street Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Jennings officiating. Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m., Monday at the church. It would have been Ann’s wish that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Richard Konnerup through the BBFI Mission Office for the Nairobi Baptist Bible College, a ministry of which she was very passionate. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
