Gar was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. His drive and love for life was something that came natural. His strength and knowledge in business resulted in owning his own company, Harmony Hospitality, which he began in 1998. Harmony Hospitality thrived and eventually developed into other sister companies. He later retired, but enjoyed working part time at the Springfield Golf and Country Club.
Anyone who knew or came in contact with Gar will remember him for his wit, love of others, and the social interaction with those he treasured. His compassion and joy could be seen from his love for spending time with his grandchildren, all the way to his many furry friends around the house.
He was the strength that drove his family through life, he was their “Rock”.
