Jana Copeland at 62, of Willard, MO went to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 27, 2016 at her home with her family by her side. She was a loving wife to Roger, a mother of 3 extraordinary young women, a caring step-mother of 2, plus a grandmother and devoted Christian. Anyone that knew her was drawn to her infectious smile and engaging spirit. The love she had for her family was evident to all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Louis and Reba Hobbs; survivors include husband Roger; daughters Shawna (Shaun) Wirth, Carisa (Mike) Deken, Ashley (Ben) Potter, Erin (Wayne) Spencer and Brandi Copeland; 8 grandchildren: Rachel and Wyatt Wirth, Madie and Landon Long, Isaac, McCord and Vivi Deken and Andrew Spencer; brother Bill (Linda) Hobbs; sister Sue (Gordon) Elliott; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday April 29, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. The funeral will take place at James River Assembly at South Campus on Saturday at 11:00 am. Online condolences may be made at www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com

I went to school with Jana and she was always so cheerful and so sweet to everyone. And such a beautiful girl. Everyone is saying how beautiful she was inside and out and that is so true.

For the past 15 years, I have had the honor & privilege of knowing & being close friends with the happy, loving, funny, gracious,tenderhearted & soft spirited Jana or Nan Jana as I call her! We met at James River in the choir! We had a lot in common & became fast friends! We cut up a lot in choir, but gave it our all! Jana is kind spirit who shines the light of Jesus everywhere!! Her & Roger will always be deeply in Love! They cherish each other as God Cherishes us!! Jana is astong person & that will live out through her 3 beautiful daughters & her Grandchildren!! Jana will missed, but we have the Blessed Assurance to get to see her again!!! One day we will sing in the Heavenly Choir and laugh together and enjoy each other’s company once again !!
