Maurice Wade Trask, age 87, of Springfield, MO, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 in his home. He was born April 6, 1928, in Memphis, MO to Chauncey and Ruth (Northrup) Trask. He was a member of the Cherry Street Baptist Church. He worked for over 22 years with CB & Q Railroad, as a Depot Agent.
Maurice was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Martha Ann Perdue, and a brother James Trask. He is survived by his wife Willa Trask, a daughter Rene’e Maureen Hensley, Woodstock, GA. and two sons: Steven Wade Trask, Campinas, Brazil, and Mark Wayne Trask, Owasso, OK a sister: Mary Ruth Gray, Columbia, MO and two brothers: Dale B. Trask, Columbia, MO and Harry Alan Trask, Burke, VA, 7-grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 28, 2015 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO. Burial will follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO. Visitation will be held from Noon to 1:00 p.m. before services on Monday.
