Stella Kaye Hendershott, 62 passed away at her home after recently being diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Kaye is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dennis, daughters Jennifer Meacham and Joy Hendershott, grandsons Alex, and Nick Meacham.
She was employed at Missouri State University for 39 years in the Printing Services.
Kaye enjoyed reading, watching and attending musicals, going to Lady Bear Basketball games, playing at Downstream, and most importantly, spending time with her friends and family.
She was a gentle soul who loved those around her and will be greatly missed.
Also surviving are her siblings and their spouses: Frank and Sharon Lynch, Springfield, MO, James and Lynn Ingle, Hollister, MO, Debbie and Tom Wright, Glen Carbon, IL, along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Greenlawn North Funeral Home on January 28th from 6-8pm.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Stella Kaye.
