Thomas Edward Mawhiney , loving husband and grandfather of Pleasant Hope, passed from his earthly life on February 2, 2016. He had many accomplishments in his 91 years including 22 years in the U.S Army where he fought in World War II and Korea, and received many medals including the Purple Heart. But his biggest accomplishment was his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Erma, and his son, Dan. He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Ann Agee, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildrren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Vaughn Cemetery in Greenfield, Missouri, on Monday, February 8, 2016, at 2:00pm.
