John--my love and prayers go out to you and the girls! What a beautiful family! I am so deeply saddened--I was not aware of your lost until 10 a.m. today (12-21-16) So hurtful I missed my chance to give you and the girls a BIG hug! I have loved you since first meeting you during your student-teaching experience only a few years ago! I pray for your strength, courage, and guidance as God directs you! I will be in touch with you soon! Sending love and prayers, John to you and those beautiful girls! Doris

I wish I could have stayed in touch with Edie throughout the years but I know she always stayed sweet and smiling all the time. I'm sure she blessed many people with happy times and she will be looking down at her loved ones blessing and watching over them from this point forward. As I just looked at her picture on this web page, I just now smiled and teared up as she looks just like the last time I saw her many years ago. My prayers are with all her family who no doubt have a void in their lives that can't be filled but please know that she is with you in spirit and in your hearts forever.

Edie was a true christian and I definitely know I will see her again. She was always a joy to be around. (It was wierd, but I was always running into her at stores after she left Mercy, and she would smile, and give me a hug.) I will definitely miss her presence here on earth, but am looking forward to seeing her again in heaven. John, my heart and prayers goes out to you during this time.
