Lonnie Ellis Snowden 74, died peacefully at home on December 28, 2017. He was truly loved.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 03, 2018 11:00 am at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 708 State Hwy 248, Branson, MO 65615. Visitation will be held on January 02, 2018 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Lonnie was born on March 1, 1943 to Johnie and Velma Jones Snowden and was a native of the Branson area until he spread his wings and moved to Wichita, KS during his late teens. He lived, worked, raised his family, and had lots of fun in Wichita until 1993. That is when he moved back to the Branson area to settle on his treasured Bear Creek. His hobbies were restoring hot rods, racing cars, moving gravel with his tractor, family, and spending time at his home/shop in Walnut Shade. He is survived by his wife Roxanne, ex-wife Brenda, five children, Roy and Gretchen Snowden, David and Melissa Snowden, Sarah and Dustin Stuever, Cassandra Rapert and Nicole Yannizzi. seven grandchildren, Cooper Snowden, Wyatt Stuever, Henry Stuever, Ellie Yannizzi, Emma Yannizzi, Riley Rapert and Cameron Rapert. As well as his six brothers; Virgil, Farris, Donnie, Earl, Bill, and Bobby and six sisters; Janice Robbins, Rita Lawheed, Carolyn King, Linda Cowen, Brenda Rogers, and Shirley Hunter, along with many beloved brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, his father and mother-in-law, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. Memorials will be directed to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of SW Missouri, Springfield, MO.

NOTE: CASA is a much needed and valuable organization to aid SW Missouri foster children. The organization's mission is to recruit, train, and support community volunteers who assist the court in protecting the best interest of abused and neglected children.
