Jerry Lee  Findley
Jerry Lee Findley, 86, of Springfield, passed away February 25, 2018.
Jerry was born January 21, 1932 in Wichita, KS to Guy and Maxine Findley.
He join the United States Army Reserves during the Korean War and remained a reservist for several years. He later became a machine operator at Kraft Foods here in Springfield after 36 years of service. Jerry was always worried about safety in the workplace and received a commendation and also a key to the city for his commitment to safety. Jerry loved his family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren and attending their events.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Mary Rae Findley. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Glenda Findley of the home, 2 sons, Stacey Findley and his wife Tina of Fair Grove, MO, Todd Findley of Springfield; 4 grandsons, Utah Findley and his wife Emily, Logan Findley, Landon Findley and Wyatt Findley; 4 granddaughters, Leah Findley, Alana Findley, Allison Findley and Lillie Findley and 2 great grandchildren Gracyn and Landry. He is also survived by his sister Ruby Jean Diemer also of Springfield, MO.
A graveside service for Jerry will be at 1:00 pm Friday, March 2, 2018 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Springfield. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday at Greenlawn Funeral Home East.
