Obituary for Billy G. Harralson

Billy G.  Harralson
Billy Gene Harralson, was born September 8, 1939. He was the son of Amos E. Harralson and E. Ruth (Derossett) Harralson. He went home to be with the Lord, on June 9, 2018. He was retired from Carlisle Belts after 40 years. He was in the U.S. Army, from 1957 to 1965, he was honorably discharged as a Seargent. He attended the Sac River Cowboy Church, in Springfield, Mo. He loved his family and he enjoyed his grandchildren and all their activities.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents. Billy was joined in marriage to Virginia F. Parker on May 30, 1958. They had just celebrated their 60 th wedding anniversary. To this union were born, Curtis G. Harralson and Lisa A. Lilley. He is survived by his wife Virginia, of the home, son Curt Harralson (Carolyn), of Billings, Mo. Daughter Lisa Lilley and Rick Larimore, of Springfield, Mo. Grandson: Derek Harralson, (Courtney), Grand-Daughter: Shannon Smith and one great grandson, Hunter Harralson. He is also survived by two brothers: Richard Harralson (Pat), of Pleasant Hope, Mo. Bob Harralson (Marcia) of Willard, Mo. and one sister, Marjorie Branson, of Branson , Mo. several nieces, nephews, and other family members, and by his step-mother: Frances Harralson of Fair Grove, Mo.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Slagle cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the charity of the their choice.
