Obituary for William E. Wolfgram

William E. Wolfgram, age 98, passed away on July 5, 2018, in Springfield, MO. He was born in Berwyn, IL on June 12, 1920 to William H. and Emma (Marek) Wolfgram. Bill married the love of his life, Helen C. Korecek on April 28, 1944 and enjoyed 72 years of life together. Bill served in the United States Army during the Battle of the Bulge and retired from Xerox after many years of faithful service. He and Helen retired to Kimberling City, MO eventually moving to Springfield, MO.
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, twin brothers, Elmer and Edwin, sister, Irma Henry and her husband Barnett, brother-in-law, David B. Keenan, great-nephew, Jeffrey John Henry, Sr. Bill is survived by his sister, Norene Helen Keenan, nephew’s David B. Keenan (Lisa), Thomas W. Keenan (Kerri), Thomas B. Henry (Debra) and nieces, Diane Spreitzer (John), Cheryl Keenan (Josh) and special friends, Maury and Kay Gibson along with other family and friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with services following in the funeral home at 2:00 pm. Entombment will be in Mount Auburn Memorial Park in Stickney, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Council of the Blind.
