Obituary for Elizabeth Hern

Elizabeth Zoe Hern 87, Fair Grove, Mo. passed away Sunday January 6, 2019, in her home. She was born in Wayne County, Mo. on October 5, 1931, to Irvin Stockard Morgan and Margaret Cyrinia Angiline (Nelson) Morgan. A long-time area resident . She was a former accountant for the Quinn Coffee Company, and a charter member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan and loved being with her family
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Hern, one step-grandchild and her three siblings. She is survived by her four step-children: John and Judy Wilkerson, Susan & Bob Edmondson, Jean and Thomas Rippee, and Joan and Randy Bass, six step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren, three nephews: Jim. John and Thomas E. Morgan, a niece, Elaine, and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church: 815 East Farm Road 182, Springfield, Mo. 65810.
