Obituary for Iris Darleen Carpenter (Cooper)

Iris Darleen Carpenter, 76, Raytown, Mo., formerly of Springfield, Mo., passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Truman Lakewood Care Center, Kansas City, Mo. after a long illness. She was born on January 16, 1943 in Camdenton, Mo. to Aubrey Shore and Iris Lorraine (Patterson) Cooper. She was a retired bookkeeper at Carpenter's Saw Shop and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Iris was very active in the family business and community activities.
Iris was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings. She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Iris Doniece Rhea and her husband, Richard: a son, Donald Carpenter and his wife, Dora Lea: a granddaughter, Rachel Lauren Carpenter: two sisters: Becky Myers and Audrey Dusil and her husband, Chris; a half-sister, Vickie Dean Bush; and a half-brother, Ray Bush and his wife Chris.
Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
