Jose was born in San Miguel, El Salvador on September 11, 1936, where his parents owned and operated the family farm. After high school he married the love of his life Sonia Carmen Argueta (Mojica) and remained a faithful and loving husband for 52 years. Our family will always miss you dad. You were a one of a kind. My heart will always miss you and your nice smile and wisdom. God will help me heal after a blow like this because it would be something you would have wanted. Will always keep your wisdom in my heart and will always say to myself "what would dad want me to do? Always love you, your daughter Sonia L. Jones (Argueta)

Jose. You will always have a special place in my heart. You were far more than a father in law to me, you were truly a father. Your advice and counsel were always valued and it has been an absolute honor and privilege to have known you and to have helped care for your needs. The Lord Jesus waited 82 years for you to sit at his right hand. Now the Lord and all of his Angels are rejoicing at your arrival. Remember, I told you every day how much I loved you and called you dad. You called me your "big son." Truly an honor. Finally, I will say, it has always been a further honor to be fortunate enough to have married your daughter and to raise up your grand-children. For this, I thank you eternally. Until we meet again. TONY (Big Son)
