Such great memories as a child growing up with Billy and my sister, Sue. Billy took me to the archery club with him and taught me how to shoot a bow and arrow. Billy left his family behind many times to go overseas to serve our country. A man of strong character, great husband, father and Pap’s, RIP !!❤️❤️

I don't think I can be wrong in speaking for all Uncle Billy's nieces and nephews that he is probably one of the most beloved uncles in all time. I know for certain he was to me and my brothers and sisters and I'm also certain to all our cousins in the Newlon linage. We have so many precious memories through the years because of Uncle Billy. I will always remember his bigger than life (and bigger than himself) bear-hugs, his beautiful smile and his wonderful genuine laughter that erupted through his entire body. All of us loved you dearly, Uncle Billy and will miss you but you will always, always be in our hearts. Thank you for the memories and for just being you; and being there for us all! Love, Judy Newlon Thomas Church.
