Obituary

Funeral services for Elizabeth “Betty” Snowden age 79, of Blue Eye, Missouri will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the Mt. Olivet Freewill Baptist Church in Blue Eye with Brother Billy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue Eye Cemetery under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.

She passed away on January 10, 2020 at Legacy Village in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Betty was born on April 4, 1940 in Pasadena, California the daughter of Ford and Jacqueline Oberholtzer. She had been a longtime resident of the Blue Eye area and retired from Tysons in Berryville, Arkansas several years ago. She was a member of the Mt. Olivet Freewill Baptist Church in Blue Eye, Missouri.

Survivors are her husband Farris Snowden of the home. Four children; Randy Snowden of Harrison, Arkansas, Charlotte Snowden of Blue Eye, Missouri, Dale Snowden of Gravette, Arkansas and Jeff Snowden of Lead Hill, Arkansas. One brother, Tim Oberholtzer of Oakland California and a sister, Jacquie Case of Bakersfield, California, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister and one great grandson.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the church.
