Obituary

Obituary for Babette Yvonne Howe (Conger)

Babette Yvonne Howe, 52 of Greenwood MO peacefully exited this Earthly world to enter into the eternal bliss of her Faithful, Loving Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 10, 2020 at St. Luke’s East in Lee’s Summit Missouri.
She was born October 29, 1967 to Millard Fredrick Conger and Joyce Marie Smith in Penn Yan NY. She was the 6th of 9 children.
She married Micheal James Howe July 11, 2009. They started their family in Springfield MO. In 2013, they moved to the Lee’s Summit area and eventually settled in Greenwood with their two biological sons. God later found them faithful and added to their loving family a beautiful teenage daughter who has richly blessed them.
Babette committed her life to raising her children, loving babies, and making everyone feel special and loved. Besides her Lord and her husband Micheal, her children were her passion. She enjoyed taking care of foster babies and had a daycare for them. She immensely loved her children, her family, and truly many other people.
She is survived by her husband, Micheal Howe of Greenwood, her children Maelie Howe, Stephen Howe (her little man), and Joseph Howe (her little guy), her parents Millard and Joyce Conger of Branchport NY, her brothers and sisters Conrad and Arlene Conger of Fort Mill SC, Napoleon Conger of Rogersville MO, Adam and Joan Conger of Laurel MD, Enoch and Elizabeth Conger of Prattsburg NY, Julie Conger of Branchport NY, Bud and Sherry Conger of Strafford MO, Zachary Conger of Rogersville MO, and Bryan and Nellie Mitchell of Beach City OH, many nieces, nephews, and friends, and about a thousand people she called, texted and had playdates with on a regular basis.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Wells.
The two Scriptures that best sum up her life are 1 Peter 3:2b-4 AMP Love your husband, encourage him, and enjoy him as a blessing from God]. Your adornment must not be merely external—with interweaving and elaborate knotting of the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or [being superficially preoccupied with] dressing in expensive clothes; but let it be [the inner beauty of] the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, [one that is calm and self-controlled, not overanxious, but serene and spiritually mature] which is very precious in the sight of God.”, and Proverbs 31: 26-29 AMP She opens her mouth in [skillful and godly] wisdom, And the teaching of kindness is on her tongue [giving counsel and instruction]. She looks well to how things go in her household, And does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired); Her husband also, and he praises her, saying, “Many daughters have done nobly, and well [with the strength of character that is steadfast in goodness], But you excel them all.
