Alice Jean Wilder, age 92, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019. She was born April 5, 1927 in Alden, KS to Frank Edward and Mary Alice Vincent. She married Floyd Leonard Wilder on November 3, 1946 in Alden, KS.
They lived in Wichita, KS and Leavenworth, KS before moving to Springfield, MO in 1953 where she resided until her death.
She was active in Family and Community Education, Ozarks Needleworkers, Lacemakers of the Ozarks, Brazilian Embroidery, Ozark Gem and Mineral Society, and a charter member of Parkview Christian Church.
She has always enjoyed entertaining family and friends in her home, traveling to family reunions in Alden, KS, and creating beautiful handwork which she gave to family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary, husband Leonard, siblings, Nita (Vincent) Gillen, Doran Vincent, Harvey Vincent, Walt Vincent, Helen (Vincent) Royer, Dick Vincent and several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by daughters, Diane & husband, Roger Shields, Springfield, MO; Pam & husband, Richard Tucker, Farmington, MN; son, David Wilder, Springfield, MO & Edwina Wilder, Willard, MO.
Grandchildren: Sean Shields, Shannon Shields, Danielle (Shields) Iles, Ryan & wife, Emily Shields, Shane Shields, Mike Wade, Jason Tucker, Lina (Tucker) & husband, Jon Reinders, Brian Tucker, Jessica (Wilder) & husband, Paul Gomes and Laura (Wilder) & husband, Paul Orscheln.
Great grandchildren: Sierra Shields, William Shields, Sutton Shields, Christian Iles, Tabitha (Iles) & husband, Nicholas Forshee, Jack Shields, Dean Shields, Maximus White, Serenity White, Serenity Wade, Annemieke Reinders, Jamison Reinders, Ellen Reinders, Andrew Winsted, Julius Tucker, Jaina Tucker, Braelyn Gomes and soon to be baby Orscheln.

Sisters-in-law: Joyce Wilder and Eulalie Wilder. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will be holding a private burial at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. A memorial celebration will follow at a later date.
