Allen Clark
Allen Clark, 81, of Springfield passed away in his home on December 22, 2009. He was born in Salem, Mo., on August 9, 1928. He was preceded in death by parents, Orin Ray and Cora Clark; wife, Peggy Clark; grandson, Shane Cook; and sisters, Rosa Lee Dassie, Joann Whittington, Camille Clark. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, leaving behind daughter, Allana Cook; son-in-law, Fred Cook; granddaughter, Shanda Cook; great-granddaughter, Gabriella Cook. Allen was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He retired from Kraft Foods in 1985 after 35 years of service. His love, dedication to his family, giving heart, and thoughtful ways will always be remembered by those closest to him. Graveside services for Mr. Clark will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2009 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
