Anne Theresa Brown Anne Theresa Brown, a life-long resident of Springfield, went home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Evangelist Don Brown; step-son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Elizabeth Brown of Cabool; six grandchildren, Sarah Kimani of Springfield, Rob and Beverly Sanchez of Klamath Falls, Ore., Tiffany and Phillip Davis of Ava, Richard Sanchez of Tuscon, Ariz., Susan Brown of West Plains and Cheryl and Nick Clinton of Bolivar; nephew and nieces, Paul David Gardner, Paula Ann Romen, Teresa Wells, Kelly Todd and Paul Derek Gardner; seven great-grandchildren; many friends and loved ones. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Harold D. and Juanita C. Gardner; and her brother, Paul Richard Gardner. Anne received Jesus Christ as her personal savior on October 30, 1988 through the ministry of High Street Baptist Church. Anne told all she saw that her salvation was the best decision she ever made. “It changed my life and my priorities. It is my desire that all my family and friends be saved. Jesus said, ‘Whoever’ may come. Salvation is a free gift of God, all you have to do is accept. Jesus won’t make you a perfect person, but a new person, set apart.” At her death, Anne was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Springfield. She worked for Sysco Food for 22 years and retired in 2003. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Beth-Eden Bible Camp 3068 E. Belmont, Springfield, MO 65802. Funeral services are Friday October 30 at 2 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home East Chapel, 3540 E. Seminole. Visitation is Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m. with burial in White Chapel Cemetery.
