Ray and Beth met at Baptist Bible College and then married in June of 1975. This was the beginning of their lifelong ministry. They have served together at Cherry Street Baptist Church for 44 years. The lives touched by this ministry are countless and forever impacted for Christ.
Beth’s greatest joy and deepest ministry on this earth was to serve her family. Her children and grandchildren were impacted by her unconditional love for them. She was always aware of their needs and had the ability to meet them at any given time. She made this possible by her endless lists and making sure she checked it twice.
Beth was truly the wind beneath the wings of anyone serving on the frontlines of life. You could often find her in the background making sure that everyone was cared for no matter the job or reason. She provided meals for people or gave fresh baked goods just to be of help. Beth sent encouraging cards, texts, phone calls, and was amazing at communicating her prayers and support no matter what you were going through.
If you were a Baptist Bible College student and you went to your to your mailbox, open said box, and saw a small foil wrapped package, you immediately knew what it was and who it was from. It was the legendary, sublime, delectable, heavenly, CARAMEL BROWNIE!!!! What you might not realize is that it was made with love and care and to let you know that you mattered!
The family would like to say Thank You for your love and support during this time and ask that you continue to pray for them in the coming days and months ahead.
