Betty (Hall ) Baker, age 72, Republic passed away Saturday, April 6th, 2019 at Republic Nursing & Rehab .
Betty was born October 1, 1946 in Springfield to Dewey and Thelma Hall. She attended Central High School and graduated from Parkview High School in 1964. Betty was united in marriage to Kenny Baker on March 27, 1965 in Springfield. Betty loved to travel with her husband, listen to Blue Grass music, fish, garden, and work in the yard. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband Kenny Baker; her three children, Nick Baker and wife Amy, James Baker, and Tammy Stewart and husband Kenny; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Vera Hall; and a host of family and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Thelma Hall; two brothers, Tony Hall and Pat Hall; and one sister, Wilma Bayless.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home. A celebration of Betty's life will be held Thursday, April 11th, 2019 at 1:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home North 3506 N National Springfield, MO 65803, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Funeral services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
