Betty Ann Collins, 80, took Jesus by the hand at 12:00 p.m. November 3, 2019, She was born in Springfield, MO. the daughter of Frank and Zelma (Bailey) Austin. She was united in marriage, June 8, 1957 to Orie Collins, who preceded her in death, as well as her father, mother, and her sister. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church in Strafford, Mo. She was a volunteer at the Strafford Care Center. Betty was the sweetest and kindest person to be around. Her love for Jesus, always showed through for every day.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Tammie May and her husband, James May, her son, Ron Collins, and her son Tim Collins and Carrie Collins, eight grandkids and eleven great-grandkids, and numerous nieces, nephews, as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews, all who she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2019, at greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Eastlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening, November 7, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
