Betty “Jane” Hendershott, age 91 of Springfield, passed away on January 2, 2019. Jane was born in Argyle, MN on December 11, 1927. Betty “Jane” Hendershott, age 91 of Springfield, passed away on January 2, 2019. Jane was born in Argyle, MN on December 11, 1927. She later met and married Jess Hendershott and to this union 4 children were born. Jane is survived by her children, Jim (Suk) Hendershott, Dennis Hendershott, Dale Hendershott and Paula See, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Shirley and Diane both of Chicago, along with a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was the ultimate housekeeper and an all around great cook and baker. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 9:00 to 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 3555 S. Fremont Ave., Springfield, MO 65804, with the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am in the church and burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery on West Division in Springfield. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
