Betty Jo Jarvis, age 81, of Springfield, Mo, passed away on December 12, 2014. She was born on June 14, 1933 in Miami, OK. She married Robert E. Jarvis on Feb. 2, 1960 in Miami and work for AT&T for 38 years and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Robert E. Jarvis Jr. Betty is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, Robert and son George S. Gayler, 3 grandchildren Brian M. Gayler, John D. Gayler and Anita M. Gayler and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Funeral services will be on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home with burial following in Missouri Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
