Betty Jo Tucker, age 82, of Pleasant Hope , MO, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at Citizen’s Memorial Hospital. She was born July 5, 1933, in Willard, MO, to Sam and Opal (Greathouse) Boatman. She was a member of the Pleasant Hope Fundamental Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Lynford Ray Tucker her son; John B. Tucker, three sisters; Madra Williams, Huba Cruse, and Ruby Harrison, and one brother Samuel Boatman. She is survived by her son; David Tucker, and wife Karen, her daughter; Lynette M. Hillenburg, and her late husband Rickey, her brother; Bill Boatman, and his wife Valderia, 8-grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Brighton Cemetery, Brighton, MO. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
