Betty L. Dyer, age 89 , of Springfield passed away Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019 at Spring Valley Health Care and Rehab .
Betty was born September 18, 1929 in Alliance, NE to Ernest and Peggy Walton. She was united in marriage to Eugene Dyer in November of 1948. She worked as a high school secretary at Nogalis High School. Betty loved to read and garden, she will always be remembered for her homemade bread.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Cave and Debbie Gerber; .one grandaughter; one grandson; three great-grandsons; one great-great-granddaughter;Lauren; and a host of family and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene Dyer; one son Donald Dyer; her parents, Ernest and Peggy Walton;and one brother, Donald Walton.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
