Betty Lou Henry, 83, Springfield, MO. passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022. She was born on July 2, 1939, in Selt, Missouri, to Warren and Vera (Smith) Berry. She was a former owner-operator of a Auto Parts Store in Aurora Mo. She was a Proud Christian woman who devoted her life to helping all those she could, especially children in need. She has on several occasions went out and bought all the kids coats she could find and hand them out to any kids walking cold. She was a wonderful model of christianity.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Berry and Vera Berry, her husband, Harvey Henry, her sister: Mary Bell Raby, four brothers: Bill Berry, Bobby Berry, Johnny Berry, and James Berry.
Betty is survived by her three daughters: Linda Davis, Kathryn Curtis and Diana Castleberry, her two sons: Richard Knight and Tim Knight. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Regina Curtis, Shawn Curtis, Christopher Curtis, Ashley Ackerman, James Castleberry, Aaron Preston, Shelby Preston, Spencer Cook, Erica White, Anthony Knight, Hazel Knight, Luca Knight, and Beau Knight
Great Grandchildren:
Shayden, Malachi, Alister, Ethan, Alexandria, Sophia, Vera, Korbin, Averie, Amelia, Winnie, and Kent.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2022, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial donations to The Salvation Army or if you come across someone cold hand them a jacket.
