Bobby Legan, age 88 , of Springfield passed away Sunday, August 2nd, 2020.
Bobby was born July 30, 1932 in Long Lane, MO to Herbert and Myrtle Legan. He served in the United States Navy. Bobby was united in marriage to Dora Lee Poindexter on June 4, 1955. He was a member of Seminole Baptist Temple since 1962, where he served as a trustee and usher.
Bobby is survived by his four children, Patricia Powell, Daryl Legan, Bobby Legan, all of Springfield, and Pamela Lackner and husband Paul of Basehor, KS. ; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Lee Legan; his parents Herbert and Myrtle Legan; and three brothers.
A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
