Bonnie Jo Woodard, 71, Springfield, Mo. passed away November 8, 2018, in her home after a long illness. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, on December 22, 1946, to Joseph and Elsie (Dale) Steinberg. She was a long-time employee of Dillon's Grocery Store, as a cashier, but she spent most of her life as a homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Faith Community Church.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ruth. Survivors include her husband, Charles Kent Woodard, a daughter, Andrea Goin, and her son, Brent Woodard, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Visitation will be one hour before services, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation and burial will take place at a later date.
