Brandon Craig McDaniel, 39, Springfield, MO. passed away March 26, 2021after a long illness. He was born July 15, 1981 to Arlan and Jeanie (Johnson) McDaniel.
Brandon loved his family, baseball and animals, especially his pet rats. He was a graduate of Hillcrest High School where he was a pitcher on the baseball team. Brandon was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved talking baseball with his father. He was employed by Brown Derby for 16 years and was very proud to be a Store Manager.
Brandon is survived by his wife: Nikki, a son: Ashton, four step-daughters: Alyssiah, Makaylah, Savanna and Gracelyn, his parents: Arlan and Jeanie McDaniel, two sisters: Sonya Smith and husband Sean, and Alexis Chum and husband Jeff, one brother: Derek McDaniel and his niece, Sienna. Brandon is preceded in death by his step-son Ethan.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. No viewing or visitation is planned.

I’m saddened to hear of Brandon’s passing. We had known each other since 2nd grade so over 30 years. I always remember him as being a nice guy. Never had anything bad to say about anything or anyone. Brandon I’m sorry we lost touch after high school but your loss is still felt and you will be be greatly missed!
