Carey Ronald Carroll, age 60, of Dadeville, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016, in his home. He was born May 7, 1955, in Springfield, MO, to Marion and Mildred (Jones) Carroll. He was united in marriage to Perri Gilchrist February 16, 1984. He was an avid fisherman, a good gardener, and he loved to play the guitar when no one was around.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Perri Carroll of the home; two daughters: Laura Pond and husband Mike of Mobile, AL, and Alyson Manley of Omaha, NE; five grandchildren: Jeffery, Anthony, Sydni, Alyssa, and Quentin; a sister Karen Swanson and husband Dennis of Fordland, MO; two brothers: Marty Carroll and Larissa of St. Louis, MO, and Eric Carroll of Springfield, MO; as well as many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Friday, January 15, 2016, at Pitts Chapel with Rev. Meredith Onion officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Compassus: 1465 E.
