Carmen Lee Wommack, age 66, of Strafford, Missouri passed away on November 22, 2020. He was born January 18, 1954 in Springfield, Missouri to Frederick Wommack and his wife Wanda. Carmen would go on to graduate from Strafford High School and attend Southwest Missouri State University. He would find his passion in farming and working as a welder and fabricator for Camel 66 and City Utilities for over thirty plus years. Carmen found love in his personal life and was joined in marriage to Susan Marie Reese (Wommack) on November 16, 1985 in Strafford, Missouri.
Carmen belonged to Bass Chapel Church in Bassville, Missouri. He worked hard all his life and was always ready to help anyone in need. He loved his family and was proud of his sons and grandsons. He was loved and appreciated and has left a hole in our hearts for a longtime to come.
Carmen is proceeded in death by his parents Frederick and Wanda. He is survived by his wife Susan; sons, Michael Wommack and Phillip Edwards (wife Teri Ann Edwards); grandchildren, Dylan and Devon Edwards (wife Hanna Edwards); sister, Darlene Cunningham of Springfield, Missouri; niece, Jodie Tucker (husband Craigery Tucker) of Springfield, Missouri, nephew Seth Cunningham (wife Julie Cunningham and their daughter Emma); cousin, Barbara Kay Wommack of Aurora, Missouri and a host of relatives and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Bass Chapel Cemetery.
