Carol Sue (McNeely) McCart, 75, of Springfield passed away on November 11, 2019 at the Aurora Healthcare Facility. Carol Sue (McNeely) McCart, 75, of Springfield passed away on November 11, 2019 at the Aurora Healthcare Facility. She was born on October 22, 1944 in Springfield, Mo to Forrest Edgar and Esther Naomi (Jeffries) McNeely. She is a graduate of Hillcrest High School and of Southwest Baptist University. Carol married Larry Lee McCart in Joplin, Mo in 1968. She was member of South Haven Baptist Church. Carol worked for City Utilities for over 35 years. She also volunteered at Fall Creek teaching grade school. She had a passion for traveling and a deep love for her family.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Esther and her sister, Delpha Wilcox. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Annette Arvidson; her grandson, Dyllian James Arvidson; her brothers, Steven Brent McNeely and his wife, Tonya and Bruce Edgar McNeely and his wife, Eva; her sister, Betty and her husband, Duane and her brother in law, Jim Wilcox. As well as, four nieces, three nephews and her 151 first cousins.
Services for Carol will be on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North with a visitation on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at White Chapel Cemetery.
