Cecil Charles Kirk Jr. 38, Springfield, MO. passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019, in Cox Medical Center South, after a long illness. He was born on Saturday, August 23, 1980, in Springfield, Mo. to Cecil Charles and Kathy Elaine (Hayden) Kirk.
He was employed as a lawn Maintenance person, for the City of Springfield, Mo .Cecil loved the outdoors, he loved fishing and gardening, he also loved woodworking, movies and music.
Cecil was preceded in death by his grandparents: Helen Marie( Kelly) Teem and Rose and Roylan Hayden. He is survived by his life partner: Kelly Elaine Anderson, they had been together since October 11, 2001. his mother and step-father: Kathy Elaine and Arnold Heglund, his father: Cecil Charles Kirk, his brother: Ethan Andrew Kirk, his sisters: Tahna Khalifa and her husband Ahmed and Brandy Jo Kirk, his nieces and nephews: Hayden, Kyla, Kaelan, Christian, Paige, Kyndra, Hunter and Penny, and his best friend, Donald McGhee.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Greenlaswn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery, near Fellows Lake. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cecil Kirk Family.
