Cecil Theon Throne, 96, passed away July 10, 2009. He was a caring and devoted family man, with a quick wit and smile. He was born December 24, 1912, in Bloomfield, Missouri, and spent his youth in Arkansas. Cecil professed his faith in Christ and united with New Friendship Baptist Church in Paragould, Arkansas. On February 2, 1947, he was united in marriage to Ruth Smalling. Born to this union were two children, Elaine Knight and David Throne.
