Chad Frederic Morgan, age 51, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Cox Medical Center South. Chad is the son of Myron K. Morgan, Nixa, Missouri, and Barbara Smith of Springfield, Missouri. Chad attended Springfield schools and graduated from Glendale High School in 1987. Upon graduation, Chad joined the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. Chad’s passion was watching hockey and was a devoted St. Louis Blues fan. Through years of diabetes and other health issues, he never lost his sense of humor.
Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Trevor and Bonnie Morgan and Tom Milner and Winn Pauly. Survivors include his parents, Myron K. Morgan and wife Wanda of Nixa, Missouri, and his mother, Barbara Smith of Springfield, Missouri. Also surviving is his brother Rob Smith, sister, Kate Smith, and sister, Catherine Tracy and husband Sean, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Celebration of Chad’s life will be held, Wednesday, June 16, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Diabetes Association in Springfield, Missouri.
