Pam, just wanted to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your father. We’ve been around long enough to know where to turn to in times like these. May He comfort and bless you at this time. Donnie Kendrick, CHS Class of ’76
Paul Husong left a message on October 11, 2016:
Charles Cross was a Pastor’s Friend. He was the same each time you met him. I loved to hear the stories he told either in the pulpit or face to face. One time when leaving the campground from youth camp as he was in a hurry, he told a teenage boy from his church as he was pulling his belt off “I don’t care if your dad pays the most tithe, I will whip you with this belt if you don;t hurry up!” I loved his compassion in the pulpit as he truly blazed a trail and set a great example to this young preacher. Bro Cross will be truly missed.
