Charles was born June 29, 1929. Passed from this life Oct. 6, 2016. He was raised in Morrisville, Mo. He served our country in the Korean war. Charles accepted the Lord early in life and was called to preach at age 16 and began preaching full time by age 19. He evangelized and pastored churches in Missouri, Arkansas, Utah, Arizona, California, and Mexico. He was an ordained minister in the Pentecostal Church of God for 52 years. He was often referred to as the Old Time Preacher Man. He was united in marriage to Mary Lou Long in 1955. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; daughter, Pam and her husband, Jeff; Son, Greg and his wife, Kim; and his grandchildren, Kimberly, Christopher, and Katelyn. Visitation will be Mon, Oct. 10th from 6 – 8pm at Greenlawn North. Funeral is Tues, Oct. 11th at 1pm. It will be held at Trinity Pentecostal Church, 530 S Miller Ave. Springfield, Mo. 65802
