Charles (Charley) Ray Jennings, 89, Springfield, MO went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 7, 2020. He was born September 22, 1931 in Troupe, TX. Survivors include his wife of nearly 68 years, Pauline Jennings, two sons and their wives, Michael and JJ Jennings, Patrick and Dana Jennings, five grandchildren; Stephen and wife Phallin, Kurt and wife Sandra, Cody Ray, Ben and wife Heather and Cristy and husband Chris, 8 great grandchildren; Grace and husband Micah, Heidi, Emma, Jane, Colton, Kaylee, Ryder and Lincoln Spickard.
Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lora Belle Jennings, and siblings Clarence and Imogene.
Charley married Pauline Stone on January 6, 1953. He loved his wife, family and the Lord. He enjoyed his cattle, hunting, fishing and antique cars. Charley served in the Air Force 1951-1955. He was stationed at McConnell Air Force base (tent city) in 1951, Wichita, Kansas. Charley worked at Boeing Air Craft, Wichita, Kansas, then employed at City Utilities for 37½ years as a lineman.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, at Crossway Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home East.
