Charlotte Binder, age 84, of Springfield, MO, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at Cox South Medical Center. She was born May 2, 1931, in Indianapolis, IN, MO, to Jack and Margaret Beatty. Charlotte graduated from the Burge School of Nursing. She retired from Cox North as a Charge Nurse on the Oncology floor. She loved to garden, travel, raising Arabian Horses, reading and going to the lake. The greatest love of her life was spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Binder; and parents Jack and Margaret Beatty. She is survived by her three children Mike Binder and wife Janet, Fort Lauderdale FL, Marilyn Reed, Joplin, and Dan Binder, Springfield; four grandchildren, Megan, Tiffany, Eric, and Robbie; several beautiful great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm, Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Memorial contributions may be made to the James River Church. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
