Dear Friends It was very special to sit in on the funeral service today. You will remember me as Diane Harper's Mother, or Alta's step-daughter. I have wonderful memories of being with Cleo and Ruth. They were special people, and we felt so encouraged just to be around them. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy. With warm love, Russ and Von (Ethel) Morton

We have many wonderful memories of Cleo, Ruth and family. Cleo was one of the first ones you would see when getting to convention. He always made sure folks had a seat for the services. His kind gentle spirit was an inspiration and example to us all. Thoughts and care to the family and his many friends.
Robert and Lillian (Townsend) STEWARD left a message on January 26, 2021:
Darrell and Donna, Denis and Lori, and all the families that loved Cleo. We are so sorry we could not be there with you today. Thankful for the zoom. we do have so many Dear Memories of Cleo, Ruth, and all the family. Times when they meant so much to us. Ruth and Cleo and the boys were so faithful to come to the meetings when Bob was taking his first steps. The encouragement that Cleo and Ruth gave when we were first married. Thinking of times of my own dads funeral and the times we spent with Mom afterwards and how much Darrel and Donna and the kids, especially Dalena, meant to us at that time. Alicia's girls considered Cleo as a bonus Grandpa. Anna wonders 'Who will hug us at meeting and convention'. Alicia she was sure Darrel would be willing for a hug. Made me think. Who will take Cleo's place. So glad he has sons to, never fill his place, but to step in and fill the gap making places of their own. Grandsons and granddaughters who will hopefully one day fill a place in God's Kingdom. So thankful for the example that Cleo left for all of us and and so thankful for all the memories that will prove that God's Light shining through Cleo's life will not go out. So thankful that we can rest assured that there will always be those upholding God's Banner and always be those dear pillars that we can look to for encouragement along the Way.

It was our privilege to meet with Cleo for a few short years. His faithful life was an inspiration and an encouragement to us. Cleo was one of the kindest most thoughtful people I've known, and know he will be greatly missed by his family an all who knew him.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
