Clifford F. Price, age 95, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Friday, January 8 in his home. He was born to Lewis and Dorothy (Rowe) Price on July 12, 1914 in a little house a half mile from where he lived most of his life. He was preceded in death by Virginia, his wife of 63 years and one grandchild. Clifford and his father were paper hangers for years, a farmer, carpenter, and a school bus driver for Pleasant View School. During World War II he worked at Todd Ship Yards in San Pedro, Calif. as an electrician. He is survived by a daughter, Kathy Mallonee and Jerry, Springfield; a son, Garold Price and Wanda of Buffalo; six grandchildren, Scott Price, Amy and Chuck Derdall, Tonya Price, Michelle Edwards, Amanda Osborne, Andy and Blanca Mallonee; three great-grandchildren, Luke Edwards, Ashley and Haley Mallonee; one aunt, Georgia Almond (age 102); a special cousin, Vera Chandler; his very special friend, Mrytle Scroggins; Alvin Lawson; and many special cousins, friends and family. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with Rev. Calvin Parrish officiating. Visitation will be Monday, January 11, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Dishman Cemetery, Strafford.
