Clyde Warner Dusenbury Jr. age 65 of Springfield, MO passed away in his home on Saturday June 1, 2019. Clyde was born on December 17, 1953 in Springfield, MO to parents Helen Louis Dusenbury (Norris) and Clyde W. Dusenbury Sr. He was one of four children, having one older sister Rosemary Dusenbury, a younger brother Johnny Lee Dusenbury, and an older brother Larry Gene Dusenbury. Clyde attended and then graduated from Parkview High School in 1971. He worked at the Greene County Accessor’s Office. Clyde met his wife Jamie Rae Dusenbury (Rice) in Springfield, MO and took her hand in marriage on March 10, 2000. They had two children, their firstborn and only son John David Dusenbury and a daughter Tyler Renae Dusenbury. Clyde was also a loving father to his stepdaughter Lea Ann (Radford). Clyde enjoyed many activities such as fishing, cooking, gardening, and spending quality time with his family and pets.
He is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Helen, his brother Johnny Lee Dusenbury, and his older sister Rosemary Dusenbury.
Survivors include his wife Jamie Rae Dusenbury (Rice), his two children Tyler and John Dusenbury, stepdaughter Lea Ann (Radford) and husband George Criswell, older brother Larry Gene Dusenbury and wife Hazel Dusenbury, niece Kelsey Renee Wake, many cousins and relatives, and close friends, Stan Johnson, Sarah Thompson, James (Pepper) Frank, and Bill Boone.
In honor of Clyde’s memory, a visitation will be held on Wednesday June 5 at 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Service will be held the day after on Thursday June 6 at 11:00 a.m in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Interment will be in Eastlawn Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
