Cortney Elizabeth Cotter, age 31, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020.
Cortney was born on January 11, 1989 in Clarksville, Arkansas to parents Doug Cotter and Terri Carter. Cortney attended Kickapoo High School and worked for McCallisters Deli on Primose in Springfield, Missouri. She was a member of Hurley Baptist Church in Crane, Missouri. Cortney loved and adored her son, Jeremih. He was her whole world and her pride and joy.
Cortney was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mel and JoAnn Carter, paternal grandparents, Arvil and Mary Cotter and her paternal grandmother, Joan Cotter. She is survived by both her parents, Doug Cotter and Terri Carter, her loving son Jeremih Trevon Cotter, her brothers; Paul Cotter (Melanie) and Chris Vanover (Robyn), her sisters; Marita Asher (Gene), Rochelle Franco (Tony) and Alicia Mosley, nephews and nieces; Nici Cotter, Austin Lyon, Zac Cotter, Alex Cotter, Sage Franco, Pakhun Franco, Jasper Franco, Brandon Vanover, Justin Vanover and Connor Vanover, other relatives and close friends; Mike Cotter, Brent Cotter (Sandy), Mark and Tammy Carter, Sharanna and Bobby Bridges and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service for Cortney will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. The memorial service will be held in Hurley Baptist Church at 5995 Missouri A in Crane, Missouri 65633.
In lieu of flowers the family asks to please donate gift cards for Jeremih to Walmart, any grocery stores, clothing stores, and restaurants to help raise him.
