Daisy “Louise” Aldredge, age 89, of Springfield, MO, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Mercy Hospital. She was born July 16, 1925, in Springfield, MO, to John and Edith (Sheridan) Cotter. She was a member of the High Street Baptist Church. She and her husband Charlie enjoyed square dancing in their spare time. Louise worked as an optical technician. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles William Aldredge., and five brothers: Carl Cotter, Arthur Cotter, Clyde Cotter, Wilbur Cotter, and Max Cotter; and one sister Irene DeBerry; and cousins: Vicky Marie Cotter, Bobby Cotter, and James Burton (JB) DeBerry. She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Gary and Mary Jane Cotter, Jeanne and Ed Buffaloe, Greg Cotter, Pamela and Alan Fuhrman, Sharon (Cotter), Sandra Cotter, David and Linda Cotter, Glenda and Charles Griesbeck, and Paul Cotter. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews, and two sisters-in-law; Ethel Mae Cotter and Lorraine Madge Cotter.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Ronnie Dean officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
