You have been missed every day since you left us. Our family here at 4 State Trucks is definitely saddened without you. Thank you for always sharing pictures and stories about your grandkids. It was evident you were a very proud grandpa. Bonita was very loved. You talked about her a lot and never missed an opportunity to tell me what yummy dinner she made for you the night before so you could have the leftovers for lunch. Thank you for being my friend.

My sincere sympathy to Dales family and friends. Dale was born to Julia and Onnie Gulley, but was raised by Julias parents Eva and Carl Bocklund. As a young child, Dale was adopted by his grandparents--thus the name Bocklund. He joined 10 brothers and sisters, only 3 still living at home. Dales grandmother passed away from a heart attack when he was 12 years old . Julias oldest sister , Doris Hughes and her husband became custodians for Dale at this time. When Dale was 16 to 18 years old he went to live with Julia in Texas. Dale continued to stay in touch with some of Julias family, as well as his father, and fathers family. The parenthood of Carl and Eva instilled in Dale the importance of family and working. As far as I know, Dale was a good person, never in trouble, never a problem child. He called my mother, Pete 2 to 3 times a month and kept in touch with Rich Hughes. My mother will miss his calls and whats going on in Joplin!
